About
Anne Hoffman started WithanE Designs in May 2000. The business
developed from her passion for feeding and watching birds for
over 30 years, and her artistic skills and talents in working
with stained glass. She married the two interests, and now creates
functional art for your home and garden.

"I
became interested in stained glass art about 6 years ago, taking lessons
from a professional. My love of watching birds at the feeders in my
garden in Minnesota inspired me to start making the birdfeeders and
houses you see on these pages."
"Creating
functional birdfeeders that are truly a work of art is a challenge
that I wanted to take on. I enjoy the three-dimensional projects.
Using glass in a way that most artists don't think of is a lot of
fun. The challenge is not the size, but designing works that are functional
for the birds and hold up to the weather."
"I've
been feeding the birds for many years. The thrill for me is to see
these wonderful creatures feeding from my designs. I have been invited
to clients gardens for them to show me how delighted they are with
the feeders - not only do they attract the birds but they create a
beautiful focal point in their garden."
